TM1000 Progressive Traction® from Trelleborg Wheel Systems was awarded the prize for “Best Agricultural Tyre” at the Hevea Tyre Industry Awards 2019, held at the North Convention Centre of the Madrid Fair Institution (IFEMA), in Madrid, Spain, on January 9, 2020.
The Hevea Awards had 19 categories in 2019 that highlighted outstanding participants across the tyre industry. TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® from Trelleborg Wheel Systems was named as the “Best Agricultural Tyre” with more than 38.2% of the votes, ahead of the second place tyre with 19.7%.

The ProgressiveTraction® tread design was conceived to tackle the requirements of the latest generation of machinery, increasing power transmission efficiency to the ground while reducing soil compaction. At the same time, the double-edge-lug tread design was developed to reduce vibration, lowering energy dissipation, minimizing fuel consumption, as well as extending service life. Testing revealed that the tyre has achieved up to 3% less fuel consumption and up to 5% longer tyre service life.
